Personality: 

Sayumi is a generally cheerful and outgoing girl, who appears to be a quite childish airhead towards others. She usually tries to enjoy her days the fullest and wants to turn every moment into something special. However, due to this, Sayumi sometimes loses the vision of tomorrow and sometimes feels stuck within her current situation. Despite her attitude towards others, Sayumi is actually a quite mature girl, who can give good advices to others – even though, if it’s her own problem, Sayumi has problems finding a solution herself.

Sayumi might get a little stubborn if she’s stuck in a situation which makes her feel like she’s trapped. She will try her best to solve it on her own, but in the end might have to rely on other people’s support. Yet, she always finishes the things she starts. Sayumi is a perfectionistic idol, who hates leaving things unfinished.

In addition to all of that, Sayumi, being a bright and energetic idol, is quite loyal and will keep secrets as good as possible – well she will try to keep them as good as possible. She usually feels the most “powerful” during summer as, according to herself, the sun is the source of her good mood.

Biography: Sayumi's past was rather normal and boring. She grew up in a rather wealthy family with a mother, a father, some older siblings and a cat named Alfie. Sayumi is the youngest of her family and has always dreamed of reaching the stars. She even moved to a different country when her oldest sister decided to live her own life. She came back to Japan with 14 and tried to get into normal Japanese living again. Though this is still pretty hard for her and she sometimes mixes up languages. She once had the chance to become a new cover girl for a young people's magazine. However, instead of her, a idol student got the job. So Sayumi decided to create her own way to the spotlight and decided to attend the Moon Rise Academy. This was a pretty big shock for her family.

After being at MRA for almost a year, Sayumi decided to change herself a little. After her feelings got into her idol life, she hardly could concentrate on her idol activities anymore and let them down a little. With the new year, Sayumi promised herself that she would start from the beginning again, focusing everything on doing what she loves most; entertaining people and making people happy.
